Planning consent was obtained for a replacement dwelling within Bath’s green belt. The design for this new home responds to its setting in terms of materiality and structural approach, elevating the building on a series of stilts helps to minimise its impact on the geology, ecology and arboriculture of the site. The bold, simple form aims to provide an elegant solution within this rural setting.
